We are a new and growing community and with growth comes… you guessed it: expenses! We are an all volunteer organization. We encourage everyone to help the minyan by volunteering their time and expertise. Without such input the Minyan would not be able to sustain itself.
In addition, we do have a budget which needs to be funded! The budget is quite extensive and includes monies for: rental space for davening and events, food for davening and events, educational programs, children's services, administrative costs and other costs. Our main sources of income include membership dues and contributions. Only dues-paying members are eligible to vote in minyan elections.
MEMBERSHIP
We encourage everyone to become members. We have a tiered membership structure which includes the following suggested dues:

If you can give above these levels, it would be greatly appreciated. If you cannot give at these levels, we ask that you consider giving at a level that is appropriate for your financial means. We aim to have everyone in our community contributing towards the minyan.
SPONSORING PROGRAMMING
We welcome both co-sponsors (sharing the costs with the minyan or other community members) and sponsors (covering the full cost). We have several sponsorship options listed below for Shabbat morning and Friday nights. You may choose to add special items (e.g., scotch, fish) for an additional cost. There is a kiddush committee that can help purchase the food, but if you would like to shop yourself or buy special items, that can be arranged. Regardless of sponsorship type, you can write a dedication in honor or in memory of someone or some event. Email Michele at sponsor@minyantehillah.org if you have questions or for more information.

DONATIONS
Additional contributions can be made via contributions to the general fund. This is a meaningful way to honor or memorialize someone or some event while helping to support the minyan. Donations can be made anonymously or can be announced in the weekly email or at davening.
All such donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law and donors will receive a receipt with tax-ID information. For more information, email finance@minyantehillah.org.
