We are a new and growing community and with growth comes… you guessed it: expenses! We are an all volunteer organization. We encourage everyone to help the minyan by volunteering their time and expertise. Without such input the Minyan would not be able to sustain itself.
In addition, we do have a budget which needs to be funded! The budget is quite extensive and includes monies for: rental space for davening and events, food for davening and events (including unsponsored Kiddushes), educational programs, children's services, administrative costs and other costs. Our main sources of income include membership dues and contributions.
Membership
We encourage everyone to become members. We have a tiered membership structure which includes the following suggested dues:

If you can give above these levels, it would be greatly appreciated. If you cannot give at these levels, we ask that you consider giving at a level that is appropriate for your financial means. We aim to have everyone in our community contributing towards the Minyan.

There is a Kiddush committee which can help with purchasing the food. If you would like to purchase the food or buy "special" items for your "special" Kiddush yourself, that can be arranged as well. You will also have the opportunity to craft a dedication (i.e. in honor of or in memory of someone or some event) to be announced during davening. Email kiddush@minyantehillah.org with questions.

Donations
Additional contributions can be made via sponsorship of davening or contributions to the general fund. This is a meaningful way to honor or memorialize someone or some event while helping to support the Minyan. Donations can be made anonymously or can be announced via email or during services.
All such donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law and donors will receive a receipt with tax-ID information. To sponsor kiddush or davening, please email sponsor@minyantehillah.org
